Beautiful but Deadly

X-Force cannot be stopped! The incredible Fine Art Statue line has captured members X-23, Warpath, Deadpool, Archangel, and Wolverine, and now it expands to include the telepathic mutant ninja and current leader of Uncanny X-Force, Psylocke! Once a British woman with minor mutant powers, Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock’s mind was transferred into the body of a ninja giving her additional martial arts prowess. A long-time member of the X-Men, Psylocke more recently joined up with the brutal mutant hit squad X-Force, comprised of mutants willing to do anything to get the job done and protect the world. Psylocke fit right in, using her awesome powers and debuting a cool monochrome costume.
The deadly telepathic mutant stands on a ruined battlefield, focused intently on her enemies and ready to attack! Psylocke balances with her feet spread wide, gripping the broken pillar beneath her with her Japanese tabi-style boots. She leans forward with one katana held in a low guard position before her, her other hand poised behind her to strike. You can see the ninja training at work in Psylocke’s perfectly held pose, with just the floating of her long purple hair and sash to show that the world is affecting her. The powerful mutant wears her distinctive X-Force outfit consisting of a sleek black skin-tight costume, thigh high boots, long fingerless gloves, and unique straps around her upper arms and legs plus a white sash belt decorated with the red and black X-Force symbol. As beautiful as she is deadly, Betsy’s likeness is spot on and conveys her otherworldy grace. As an added bonus, interchangeable parts let you display Psylocke with a second katana in her left hand or the swirling purple energy of her psychic knife!
Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Psylocke stands over 10 inches tall on her georama base in 1/6th scale with the other X-Force Fine Art Statues. Get her while you can before this psychic ninja disappears!

Superman Tomorrow ArtFX Statue by Kotobukiya

We have received quite a few requests regarding this new Superman piece from Kotobukiya and we are happy to announce that the statue is on the way to our store :)  Superman Tomorrow ArtFX  -  We love it !

Following the recent releases of classic DC Comics characters in the full size ARTFX Statue scale (including Batman Black Costume and The Joker), Kotobukiya returns to the Man of Steel himself for a special presentation portraying an iconic appearance: SUPERMAN FOR TOMORROW. "For Tomorrow" is most famous for its incredible artwork by DC superstar Jim Lee and that is the inspiration for this all new statue. Superman stands in one of his most iconic heroic poses, standing tall with legs apart and hands balled into fists at his sides. The Man of Steel is vigilant for any threats, his head angled to the side as his enormous cape flows dramatically in the wind behind him. Superman has never looked better thanks to the highly detailed sculpt that displays his powerful physique as well as the distinctive elements of his costume, from the intricately defined muscles of his torso, arms and legs to the creases in his boots, the subtle belt and of course all of the movement and texture of the cape. "Big Blue" is resplendent in blue, red and yellow, capturing the look and feel of his traditional costume. Befitting the serious tone of For Tomorrow, Superman's angular Jim Lee artwork-inspired face captures his incredible intensity and focus while still including the required spit curl and flowing black hair. Sculpted by Kouei Matsumoto (who also sculpted the Batman Black Costume ARTFX), Superman stands nearly 12 Inch tall in the ARTFX 1/6th scale. An absolute must for any fan of DC Comics and the greatest superhero of all time, Superman For Tomorrow is the new definitive statue and will look amazing on your shelf by himself or alongside other Kotobukiya ARTFX releases.

STREET FIGHTER CHUN-LI

BISHOUJO STATUE !!!!

The incredible Bishoujo statues from Kotobukiya have brought you everything from superheroines to Tekken fighters, and now the long-awaited line of Street Fighter members is finally here with the one, the only, CHUN LI!  One of the bestselling video game franchises of all time, Street Fighter first debuted in 1987 with its unique blend of one on one combat and international characters (and fighting styles).  The beautiful and fierce Chun Li first appeared in 1991’s Street Fighter II and has since gone on to become one of the most popular and recognizable characters from the series.  A Chinese fighter and an undercover Interpol agent, she exemplifies justice and honorable martial arts.  Chun Li is presented in a brand new Bishoujo Statue based on a new illustration by master Japanese illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

Chun Li is captured mid-kick, finishing off an unseen opponent with one of her signature moves from the Street Fighter video games.  She rests solely on her right foot, her body bent at a nearly 90 degree angle while her left foot extends high into the air.  The fighter wears her iconic blue outfit based on the traditional Chinese qipao with yellow piping and designs along with brown tights, white combat boots, and her trademark spiked bracelets.  Not only does her intricately sculpted clothing move along with her body to create the illusion of motion, but also the ribbons tied around her “ox horns” hairstyle.  The sculpted and painted details on Chun Li’s outfit and lithe musculature is perfect, a perfect representation of the high quality you’ve come to expect from Kotobukiya.  Even the fighter’s face, smoothly combining the intense focus of the moment with traditional Bishoujo beauty, is captivating and eye-catching.

    Figurine Details:
  • Captured mid-kick pose
  • Highly detailed sculpting includes all the folds and waves in her flowing clothes, muscular legs, and hair ties.
  • Chun Li stands nearly 8 inches (20 cm) tall in 1/7 scale.

A must buy for all Street Fighter fans!
